Dr. Andrew Danberg-Ficarelli is originally from Newton Centre, MA and now lives in Boston, where he earned his DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he was tapped for a national leadership position in the American Student Dental Association. Dr. Danberg-Ficarelli stayed at Tufts to complete his specialty residency in pediatric dentistry, and was appointed chief resident by the department. Now a board certified pediatric dentist and diplomate of the ABPD, Dr. Danberg-Ficarelli is also the president of the dental charity organization “Project Stretch: Dentistry Reaching Out to Children” and spearheads yearly trips to provide care in underserved areas. His B.A. degree is from Columbia College of Columbia University, where he studied economics and political science. A fluent Spanish speaker, Dr. Ficarelli has also lived and worked in Latin America. He is an impassioned oarsman and hiker, has enjoyed completing several organized endurance challenges, sings with the local Highland Glee Club, and with his family opened Catboat Coffee in Vineyard Haven, MA in 2024.
